The White Visitor....

Mr. Frank had just showed us the movie Horror in the City, a terrific production. It was produced by Hollywood. My teacher said that it was given some special awards from all over the world. It seemed to be our honor to watch it. The room was filled with our applause. However, that movie wasn't good enough to scare me.
Suddenly, from the dark corner of the room, Wendy shouted out and grabbed every body attention. "That's fantastic!"
“Aw…I don’t believe in ghosts!” I added
“Why?” Mr. Frank asked surprisingly.
“It’s just kind of religious belief, right?” added Mandy.
“Eh…not really, No religion trusts in those white things. They were made by the human imagination.” he replied.
I scratched my hair and knitted my brows in curiosity, pretending to look stupid, then questioned sarcastically, “Why do people spend their golden time on making ghosts?Ah...yeah!
That’s people. And they are afraid at such a thing." I said and made a smirk.
“I see that you girl don’t think much of spiritual productions. There are two kinds of things in our lives, darkness and light. The ghosts are mainly considered as the darkness kings. And we have the fear of those because they aren’t in a specific shape!” Mr. Frank said. He picked up one piece of paper and stared reading.
“You said we?” I said.
There was no reply.
The catholic school bell put a period to end our conversation. It was time to go. We hurried pack our bags and rushed out of the room. Through the glass door, I could see Mr. Frank’s mysterious stare. It put in my head a big question mark. Then, I went into the girl’s restroom to get ready for the class. I was standing in front of the mirror, fixing my new princess white dress. As soon as I was going to open the door, someone knocked it. I opened it immediately. There was nothing! My eyes searched around the hallway carefully without any success. Impatiently, I walked to my classroom as fast as my feet allowed.
“Someone is following me?” I heard footsteps. I turned back but just saw an empty hallway behind me. “Aw…it’s not a funny trick, show your self!” I shouted out loud and kept standing there for a while. Like before, I figured out nothing but a quiet space. I ran downstairs, to my class. My friends look at me, including Wendy as they knew what happened to me. They recognized my scary feeling on my pale face and trembling mouth. I was bathed with perspiration. I couldn’t keep my mind on study the whole Computer Science period.
“It wasn’t a ghost…” I consoled myself. “I’ll kill that person if I find out who he is! But who he is a ghost? No, it isn’t true. Why am I trembling all the time? It wasn’t a ghost, it wasn’t a ghost!”
Finally, I decided to come to Wendy’s seat when the class end and talked to her.
“Aren’t you afraid of those white things?” I asked her quietly, hoped that she would said “No”.
“You mean…ghosts?” she looked at me, seriously.
“No…I mean…yeah. That’s right, ghosts!” I shivered.
“No…not at all!” Wendy said without any pauses.
“Can you… go up with me… this lunch time?” I hesitated.
“Ok, fine!” she nodded.
It was a torrential rainy day. There were some weak sunrays go through the half-open window. They weren’t warm enough to warm the watery stairs which were all wet with raining water. Wendy and I walked up slowly to the lunchroom. When we passed the fourth floor, I heard that noise again, the footsteps! They weren’t as soft as the others but strong and very passionate. I stopped, held Wendy’s hand violently and stared around. There wasn’t any thing strange except Mr. Frank sudden greeting. I started at his strange voice.
“Good afternoon.” replied Wendy.
“Hi!” my lips moved and made a silly sound.
I looked at his old face. Something was really different. It wasn’t because his face got some new wrinkles but there was something unusual.
“What are you doing here? Aren’t you going to eat you lunch?” asked Wendy.
“I was just walking around to ask someone if he or she knows anything about the white guest of our school!” he said in a serious voice.
They both looked at me. I was freezing. At that moment, I could feel my blood getting colder and colder by each of Mr. Frank’s word. I tried my best to move my tongue to speak out some words. Who was that white guest? I couldn’t keep my mind from thinking about what had happened to my in break time. It sounded so logical if it was the white guess that knocked the door. I used my hand to embrace myself or console it not to tremble. My face turned white. It was true. There wasn’t any one kidding with me. THERE WAS A GHOST, A GHOST IN AIS.
“Anyway, I am sure that until I am right here, that man won’t frighten anyone!” Mr. Frank continued as he found out the fear on my face. He stared at me, strangely, mysteriously.
Kept holding her hand so tight, we arrived at the lunchroom. The sun was hidden by the grey ground and the torrential rain outside. It wasn’t as bright as every day. At last, we stopped at our table with delicious food which attracted me at the first sight. I sat down and began to eat. I was starving. In the morning, I got to repair my clothes for Casual day and absolutely ate nothing. And I couldn’t swallow anything even a cup of water since I met the ghost.
After finishing my lunch, I asked Wendy to go to the rest room with me. That thinking was still stuck in my head. The restrooms in sixth and fifth floor were full, so we go down to the fourth floor, where the ghost had scared me. With all of my bravery and strength, I opened the white door. My heart was beating so fast that I couldn’t stay calm anymore. I closed my eyes, twisted the lock. I pushed the door and kneeled down as fast as I could. There was nothing behind it. I opened my eyes and turned back to look at my helpful friend, Wendy. But she had gone! There was only me in the empty and quiet hallway again. I decided to get in the restroom, locked the door and stay inside. I leaned to the door for a while to catch up my breath. It seemed like I didn’t have enough time to do that. Someone knocked the door! The rhythm, the beating sounded the same as before. I moved back a several steps until I crashed the sink. I saw my face in the mirror, as pale as a dead girl. I had no choice. My only choice was open the door and drive away the white guest. I hoped that Wendy was standing outside, waiting for me. I opened the door immediately. Nothing, again! I went upstairs directly and saw A GHOST. It ran to me and chased me. I was so scared to run fast. I fell down the floor as I was out of power. My hands covered my face and my tears ran down my cheek. I couldn't move my body as I was disable.
Wendy’s voice woke me up. I found myself unconcious, leaning to the wall.I stared toward the voice and saw my dear friend. She helped me to get on my feet and led me to my classroom. Everybody in the class asked me what had scared me that much. But I really didn’t want to remember about that anymore. I refused to answer any questions to help myself recover. But I couldn't. I returned home safely that day and nothing horror happened again.
The next day, a sunny day, I went to school as normal. But I couldn’t keep myself from trembling when I arrived at Mr. Frank room. When I went in, I saw a sagging piece of white cloth on the floor near his desk. I understood everything. Our eyes met together and I started to laugh. So it was just a trick, a scary trick on HALLOWEEN! Wendy and him shook their hands. They were partner! He wanted me to appreciate human’s productions, even they are good or not. I felt a little shame but happy. But there was still one thing that I had not figured out. How could Mr. Frank move so fast with his big stomach (oopsss)?
Then I asked him, “You moved fast, right? That’s cool! How could you do that?”

He took off his new shoes and showed me. I looked at them with curiosity. There were little wheels which supported him. Wow! That’s A TERRIFIC IDEA. I looked at him with pride and said nothing...
